Then I brought them back to my house and gave them a bath and food and water. They are soooo cute and very well behaved for puppies. They are about 3-4 months old and I'm pretty sure some kind of pitbill mix. My mom has been calling all over the place today to see if we can find the owner. We even went back to where I found them and didn't see signs for missing dogs anywhere.
As we were driving around looking for signs, we saw a group of people walking on the side of the road. My mom was curious and decided to ask if they were looking for puppies by any chance. They said no but also asked if we were talking about a tan and a brindle puppy. They saw the puppies a day before I had found them, meaning they have been wandering around for at least 2 days.
My parents and I think that someone just dumped them off because where I found them was a huge area of woods. And if you lost your dogs, shouldn't there be signs up somewhere?! It makes me sick to think that someone could just dump off these beautiful puppies.
| Oh how I wish this was my present this year (; |
If we can't find the owner by the weekend, we are going to put them up for adoption at the Adopt an Angel event at Petco. It's going to be sad saying goodbye because they already fit in so well in my house. However, we can't keep them because we already have two pitbulls of our own. I am just so happy that I found them before they got hit by a car!
How sweet of you to save the adorable puppies out of the kindness of your heart. Best of luck finding the owner!
ReplyDeleteaw those are the cutest puppies ever!
ReplyDeleteThat's so sad that somebody would just drop them off :(
Breaks my heart!
